Raza Murad was summoned by the Bhopal police on Wednesday.
About this fake welfare society
The police summoned film actor Raza Murad to the Shyamla Hills Police Station in Bhopal on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. The police wanted to record his statement of his association with a phony welfare society. The company named E-block Lakeview Enclave Welfare Society came into the police’s notice when the owner and editor of a small newspaper. He is also a resident of Shyamla Hills were arrested. According to the police, he has alleged;y raped six underaged girls in Bhopal and Indore and committed fraud. Pyare Mian, 68, is a small newspaper owner and when the police seized his documents, the allegations came in front. He is currently in prison.
Pyare Mian formed this counterfeit welfare company and committed fraud by collecting money from different people on behalf of social welfare. Tarun Rathi, the head of the Shyamla Hills Police Station informed this. He said, “During the investigation, we found that the said society had eight members, including Raza Murad and three members of Mian’s family.”
Raza Murad on his connection with the company
When called, Murad said, “I owe an apartment in Ansal plaza in the Shyamla Hills area, and I am also a member of the Lakeview Enclave Welfare Society, but I do not know there was a separate company from E-block. I don’t know Mian.”
He refuted any association with Mian or the society whatsoever. Rathi said, “In his statement, Murad said he had no connection with the company and that his signature on the papers had been forged. Murad also filed a complaint with the police on Wednesday against Mian for using his forged signature.”
The police is carrying on the investigation right now. The crimes are severe and grave the police reported that Mian’s assistant, Sweety Vishwakarma, 21, used to take girls from backward family to him with the promise of giving them jobs in a fancy place. Afterward, he used to invite them to his personal places and rape them. The sections charged against him are Sections 366 (a), 376 (2) (n), 120b, 420 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 5/6 and 14 of the Protection of Children from Crimes Act (POCSO), and under relevant acts of the SC/ST Act. The police may also call Raza Murad further if the need arises.
