The Spanish drama TV series will be coming back with Locked Up season 6. The series first came out on April 20, 2015, and it initially aris on Antena 3. However, Antena 3 cancels the show and then Fox Spain picks up the show. The third and the fourth season release in April and December respectively. Late Netflix also picks up global streaming rights for the show. Ever since the show first came out it garners much love and appreciation. However, after the cancelation of the show, the cast members moved to various other projects. The Original Spanish title of the show is “Vis a Vis: El Oasis”. The show revolves around a naïve girl who troubles herself while arranging funds for her boyfriend. She finally ends in prison. Now she needs to learn to survive and face realities. Locked Up Season 6 Release Date
The fifth season just came out on July 31, 2020. So it is a little early to demand for the sixth season. Season 5 comprises of 8 long episodes. And ever since the end of season 5 fans are eagerly waiting for season 6. However, due to the global coronavirus pandemic, it seems like season 6 is a long wait. There is also no official confirmation from the creators of the show. Netflix also does not reveal anything about the renewal or confirmation just yet. Locked Up Season 6 Plot
The story revolves around a beautiful and young woman. Her name is Macarena Ferreiro and she is in love with her boss. She is clever and smart and runs several fraud companies. She even leads these companies all by herself. After dealing with a happy life she finally ends up in prison due to her fraudulent activities. However, in prison, she deals with emotional trauma and also has terrifying inmates. Here she meets the main antagonist of the show, Zulema. Season 6 will probably pick up from the end of season 5. However, we do not know anything for sure.
