The Dutch-language crime drama “Undercover” is coming back with its second season and that’s the treat for everyone out there. Directed by Eshref Reybrouck and Frank Devous the show was a general success and is still a love for everyone. The most interesting thing about the show is that it is inspired by true events that made headlines in newspapers. And, that is really something impressive and unique at the same time.

Undercover Season 2: When is the release happening?
The show made its debut on 3rd May 2019 on Netflix preceded by its release in Belgium on Een on 24th February 2019. Netflix serves as the original distributor internationally, except in France, Germany, Belgium, Austria, and Switzerland; here the local broadcasters air it weekly.
The show has already been released on Netflix on 6th September 2020. Though its release dates are varying at some places like America and it is conflicting whether the release date is the same or not. But the official trailer from Netflix’s YouTube account says it will be released on 8th November.

Undercover Season 2: What about the plotline?
Written by Nico Moolenaar the story of the show revolves around two undercover agents trying to bring down one of the biggest names in the world of drugs. Ferry Bouman rules the world when it comes to producing and selling ecstasy. He has made enough money to feed his next seven generations. But at the same time, he is not ambitious and lives in a campsite at the Belgian-Dutch border with his wife.
The story moves ahead and we see the agents getting closer to achieving their goals. With every episode, the suspense increases and the crime drama gives us a slow burn that is really engaging. Season two of the show will pick up the story less than a year after the events of season one. We won’t give you spoilers here to destroy your burning suspense.
