Batwoman Season 2: What Is The Storyline?

Season 1 came to an abrupt end due to the shut down of the production. It was originally set to be of 22 episodes. Here is the official synopsis of the show:
“Season two kicks off with a major game-changer that will alter Gotham and The Bat Team forever. As the dust settles, Batwoman has everything working against her – including the recently escaped rogues’ gallery of villains – and everyone will come to see her in a whole new light. Alice meets her match when she becomes entangled with a dangerous foe from her past who knows exactly how to prey on her vulnerabilities. As Luke and Mary find their footing as sidekicks, a romance will shake up their dynamic. Meanwhile, Sophie and Julia’s  budding relationship will face its first real test and make Sophie question everything she thought she knew to be true.”
One of the most eye-catching even that will occur in the upcoming season has been already planned. It will be a two hours crossover with Batman & Lois. Batman & Lois is the new show in the Arrowverse.

Who Will Be The New Batwoman?

Ruby Rose, the ex-Batwoman, left the show in Mid of this year. But fans will get to see a new Batwoman. Javicia Leslie will be taking over the role of classic Batwoman. She is popularly known for her role in the series ‘God Friended Me’.
Javicia said,  “I am extremely proud to be the first Black actress to play the iconic role of Batwoman on television”.

When Can We Watch The New Season?

Originally the show was set to release in October. But now dates have been to January of 2021. Despite the pandemic, CW somehow completed filming the show.
