Lucifer Season 5 Part 2, an awaited part that we didn’t know will build up so momentum. The first part of the fifth season was chaotic, godly, and nostalgic. Every character had a story in the eight episodes which made us love them even more. However, these stories did not have a conclusion, which we will have in Lucifer Season 5 Part 2.
The fifth season started with emotional farewell’s reminiscing. Then, Lucifer came, along with his twin brother, who has ulterior motives. He even turned Mazikeen against Lucifer because he hid her mother. Michael promised her a soul if she does as he asks her to. Chloe had some doubts regarding Lucifer because he did not say “I Love You” to her. As soon as he tried to explain himself, time stopped, literally. God had to ascend the Earth himself to stop his sons from slicing each other’s throats. Did we mention that Dan knows the real identity of Lucifer? Yes, he does and he is not happy about it. The first part also shattered our Ella’s heart once again. So, all in all, as we said, the first part of season 5 was packed but has a lot to complete in Lucifer Season 5 Part 2.
When will Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 release?
The show’s co-executive producer Chris Rafferty took to Twitter to tell us the updates about the second part. He mentioned that they were half-way done before COVID-19 struck.
A LOT of people are asking me this question. Sadly the answer is: we don't know. We were 95% done #LuciferSeason5 when Covid shut us down 🙁 We'll resume when we can, but our priority = keeping everyone safe. You'll hear when it's ready 😁 Till then, rewatching is your friend! 😉 pic.twitter.com/8y4wareTw3

As per the latest reports, the cast and crew are all set to return to production from September 24 in Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank. Though the release date is still to come out, we can expect Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 to come out early-2021. The filming was already mostly done for the second part, so we won’t have to wait a whole year for the second part to air. Tom Ellis previously told Pilot TV Podcast, “Hopefully, that’ll be ready to go, I imagine, sort of Christmastime or early next year.”
Also, considering there will be another season, we can expect the team to be quite busy with filming, promotion, and back filming.
Who will you see in Lucifer Season 5 Part 2?
The ensemble will include Tom Ellis as Lucifer and Michael, Lauren German as Chloe Decker, D.B. Woodside as Amenadiel, Leslie Ann Brandt as Mazikeen, Rachael Harris as Dr. Linda Martin, Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez, Kevin Alejandro as Dan Espinoza, Dennis Haysbert as God, and Inbar Lavi as Eve.
In Lucifer Season 5 part 2, you are going to see a lot of God. I know you can’t see God, however, Netflix said ‘never say never’. In the first part, Dennis Haysbert came to Earth to break the fight between his sons. Him coming to our planet says that he will do something huge. Lesley Ann Brandt said, “I can say that she goes to him and asks for something huge.”
This means that Mazikeen may play an important role in getting God from removing Lucifer from hellish prison. Then, he can live with Chloe happily. Inbar Lavi’s Eve will be back to improve her strained relationship with Maze, hopefully. Trixie is supposedly going to take a lot of limelight in the season. It is conjectured that she knows the celestial people closely and hence, maybe somebody whom God sent. All in all, Lucifer Season 5 part 2 is already a banger. We have to just wait for it.
