The new animated musical film “Over The Moon” is all set to hit the screens of Netflix real soon. The most interesting thing about the film is that it is being directed by Glen Keane, who is a legendary Oscar-winning animator and has given us characters like Ariel (The Little Mermaid), The Beast (Beauty and the Beast), and the title characters from Pocahontas and Tarzan. The movie is being co-directed by John Kahrs who is also an Oscar-winning director of Disney short “Paperman”. The screenwriter for the show is Audrey Wells who passed away in 2018.
As we mentioned earlier, the film is a musical animated show therefore how we can forget to mention the music part of it. The movie’s music is from Oscar-winning Gravity. It is composed by Steven Price, with songs by Christopher Curtis, Marjorie Duffield, and Helen Park.

The official synopsis of the movie reads:
“Fuelled with determination and a passion for science, a bright young girl builds a rocket ship to the moon to prove the existence of a legendary Moon Goddess. There she ends up on an unexpected quest and discovers a whimsical land of fantastical creatures.” Wow, this is really going to be something.
