Younger fans have been eagerly awaiting its return after the cliffhanger of Season 6 finale. Well, we finally have a Season 7!
The American comedy-drama series is based on a 2005 novel of the same name written by Pamela Redmond Satran. Darren Star is the creator and producer of the show. The show debuted on TV Land on 31st March 2015. After six successful seasons, the show is renewed for its seventh run.
Release Date of “Younger Season 7”
The show’s renewal came on 24th July 2019. We are yet to get an official release date. One of the cast members of the show, Debi Mazar revealed that the production was to begin on 30th March. She added that the sets were built, the wardrobe of the cast was ready and then everything shut down.
Recently cast member, Hillary Duff revealed that the filming of the show is most likely to begin March 2021. If this is the case then the 7th season might go on floors either in late 2021 or early 2022.
The Plot of the Show
The show takes place in New York City. It follows the life of Liza Miller. She is a divorced 40-year old woman, with a teenage daughter. After a 26-year-old tattoo artist thinks that Liza and he are of the same age, Liza devices a plan to re-enter the publishing industry by faking her age. Liza’s professional and personal life becomes intertwined when she started dating her former boss, Charles.
Season 6 ended in a cliffhanger with Charles proposing to Liza. Liza’s answer will affect both, her relationship with Charles and with her ex-boyfriend Josh going forward. The seventh season’s plot will build on Liza’s answer.
