Evil Season 2, is an American supernatural thriller drama TV series from the minds of Robert King and Michelle King, on CBS. The show premiered on September 26, 2019. The show revolves around a skeptical forensic psychologist, Kristen Bouchard, and a Catholic seminarian, David Acosta, and a technology contractor, Ben Shakir to investigate purported supernatural incidents. In Evil, there is often a scientific explanation of any incident. However, science is powerless to make the evil that men do any less horrifying. The show is intelligent and questioning. It broadens your outlook on how you perceive things.
The series has a rating of 91% on Rotten Tomatoes, and 7.6 on IMDb. It is a smart, scary, and philosophical drama. Aaron Jelsema on Google Reviews wrote, “The skeptical angle taken to portray seemingly supernatural events is a refreshing take on a genre that gets bogged down due to the cheesiness.”
When will you watch Evil Season 2?
On October 22, 2019, the makers at CBS renewed the show for a second season. The first season wrapped up its entirety on January 30, 2020. Evil is a show that lets you bank on all the psychological theories you have, but with a slight touch of complexity with religion. To continue giving us that further, the makers renewed the show. The show was originally set to release in September 2020. However, due to the COIVD-19 delay, it is not likely.
Actor Aasif Mandvi said, “There’s a lot of conversations between the networks, unions, and New York State about safety. From what I’ve heard, we’ll start in the next few months. I hope sooner than later.”
Judging from his remarks, we can say that the production is out of balance due to the pandemic and hence, we can just expect the show to premiere in September 2021.

What will you see in Evil Season 2?
In Evil Season 2, it will be more intense than the first season. Aasif Mandvi said, “I’ll just say that fans will be pleasantly surprised with where the story goes. Furthermore, the makers indicated it saying, “It becomes more personal to Kristen. She finds there’s a struggle within her own soul. What starts as something about her children moves to something that is about our leads.”
The show in the first season explored how our psychology is hampered by an external entity. In turn, this entity makes us do bad things. Additionally, there is a beautiful concoction between believers and non-believers and pose a perfect discussion for all those who are constantly debating the difference between religion and science. In Evil Season 2, we expect to see more of this smart portrayal of the debate that is as long as humans know their brains.
