Borgen season 4, is a Danish political drama series. The creator, Adam Price is also the show’s co-writer along with Jeppe Gjervig Gram and Tobias Lindholm. Borgen in literature means The Castle, where, in Denmark, all the government branches reside. They are the Parliament, the Prime minister’s Office, and the Supreme Court. It has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and 8.5 on IMDb. This rating does the speaking work solely because it shows how impeccable the show is. People love the show for a complex depiction of politics and how the main characters entangle themselves in it.
The main character is Birgitte Nyborg, who’s supposedly based on Denmark’s first female prime minister. However, she did not come to the office until the show’s second season. the main character is the best. Actress Sidse Babett Knudsen, who plays the role, also explained and praised her role. She said, “Nyborg is responsible for her feelings. Even when she makes unsympathetic decisions, she stands by them. She does not become a soppy mess in private life.”
When will we see Borgen Season 4?
Before the release of the third season, Adam Price said that it will end the show. However, on April 29, 2020, in a partnership of Netflix and DR, out sprung a fourth season’s renewal. The release date is placed somewhere in 2022. The filming for the fourth season has not started due to the pandemic delay. We hope that filming for the fourth season starts soon so that the makers don’t push the date any further.

In the third season, we saw Katrine Fønsmark as a Campaign Manager. However, according to some reports, she will go back to her journalism roots in the fourth season. What she will unfold is a mystery.
