The epic high-fantasy adaptation “The Wheel of the Time” of Robert Jordon is all set to make a bang on the screens. Amazon Prime Video’s show created by Raf Judkins who is also the executive producer came on the streamer after much struggle. The series began in 1990 and in 2007 Jordon passed away. The fantasy author Brandon Sanderson finished the series as per Jordon’s notes for its final instalment in 2013. With some rights in trouble, last-minute pilot that aired during a paid programming slot in 2015, and a slander lawsuit now firmly in the past. The series is finally with the streamer.

The production of the series began in September 2019. For now, there are no official statements released about the premiere date of the show. Though the IMDb listing is showing the show to be out in the year 2021 but to be on the safe side we need to wait for the official announcements.

The Wheel of the Time Season 1: What will be the plotline?
The show is set in the future or in simple words we are going to see the past of the Earth. It is set during a time known as the “Third Age”. The first season of the show is an adaptation of the first book in the series “The Eye of the World”. The story follows Aes Sedai who is an all-female magic organization member Moiraine Damodred as she attempts to find out the Dragon Reborn, which is a prophesized figure whose actions will eventually save or destroy humanity.
