Flames Season 3, an MX Exclusive web series is on the line to become the best Hindi teen drama. Why? A show which you automatically know is portraying you becomes your favorite automatically. It portrays your first crush, the first touch, nostalgia in an all-new mushy way. When I say the show portrays you and your story, I am not lying. Because it does. It is a show from TVF, directed by Apoorv Singh Karki. The two seasons showed how relationships develop as we grow while keeping a decorum of light-heartedness. They incorporated Bollywood’s songs in its title, with my personal favorite being ‘Agar Tum Saath Ho.’
The second season was deep and invigorating. It let you in the world of the characters and showed their development over time. The season explored amazing themes, parenting pressure, educational pressure, and depression that teens face. It made the show even more practical and intriguing. Both the seasons got positive feedback for the audience as well as the critics. So, if you have watched the seasons are waiting for the third season, you are in the right place.
What is the status of Flames Season 3?
After the second season premiered in 2019, people insisted the makers give them more of the show. So, the makers acceded and announced that they are willing to make Flames Season 3. So, as far as the renewal is concerned, it has a green light. However, if we have to say anything about its release, we don’t have words. The reason is the COVID-19, of course. The first season premiered in 2018 and the second season aired in 2019. So, it was logical to release Flames Season 3 in 2020.
But, 2020 took some wings and flew out of the picture.
Hence, expect more news from the makers to come in 2021. Till then, you can relive this cute love story again, which shuns all 18+ categories which people become so hyped up about these days. All the reason why we old school Bollywood types love this show.
Who will star in Flames Season 3?
The cast will not change at all, this is our hope, and in hope, we shall succeed.
- Tanya Maniktala as Ishita
- Ritvik Sahore as Rajat
- Deepesh Sumitra Jagdish as Pradeep Kaushal
- Sunakshi Grover as Anusha
- Shivam Kakar as Gaurav Pandey
What will you see in the plot?
The first season was the start of a young romance between a class topper and an equally smart girl in the tuition center. On the other hand, Pandey and Anusha also started feeling chemical reactions towards each other. In the second season, they went deep into more serious themes like dating.
We saw the coverage of depression to emotional one-on-one talks. In short, both the seasons did their magic in just five episodes each, which few blockbuster movies fail to do. So, in the third season, we expect some more interesting tales from the writer, Kunal Aneja. Maybe we will see separation for jobs if we see grown-ups Ishita and Rajat. We can also see a step further or step back from dating. All in all, the third season will give us more fodder to relive the 80s Bollywood ‘Prem Kahani’.
