Coming 2 America is finally happening. It is all set for release on December 18, 2020. However, due to the global coronavirus situation, we don’t know if there will be any delay. But as of now, the film is coming to screens on the scheduled date. The announcement for the sequel was done early in 2017. And now the release date has got fans really excited.
It has been long since we saw the prince of Zamundra travel to America to find love. Now after a long wait, we will finally see our crown Prince soon to be King explore. He is planning another visit to America. However, this time the reason is different. The goal is to groom himself fit for being a crown prince and also to find his son. There is no official trailer of the film as of now but we can expect it to be out soon.
Cast
We can expect the main cast to return. We will see Eddie Murphy returning as the crown Prince and soon King. He will reprise his role as Prince Akeem Joffer. We will also see Arsenio Hall playing Semmi, Shari Headley playing Lisa McDowell. We will also see Jermaine Fowler as Lavelle and Leslie Jones playing Lavelle’s mother.
Other than these we also have John Amos playing Cleo McDowell and Tracy Morgan as Reem. Paul Bates will return as Oha along with Louie Anderson playing Maurice. There will also be many other additions to the already existing star cast.
Coming 2 America Plot
The story will revolve around Akeem and his journey to becoming King from Prince. He will also realize that he has a son. However, Akeem goes to Amerca to find his son. And the comedy journey begins from there. Akeem will raise his son to be the future king to fulfill the dying wish of his father. How Akeem manages to do this will be shown in the movie.
