Hey There! Thank you for reading my article. Your reviews and comments are most welcome.

Cobra Kai Season 3 waiting time was super long. Speculating the date and whether it is going to happen or not, is how we spent the last year. We all have been waiting diligently for some good news and FINALLY, it’s here. What is the news? Let’s find out.

Cobra Kai is an American martial arts comedy-drama TV series based on The Karate Kid film series. The first two seasons premiered on YouTube Premium in 2018 and 2019 respectively. The two seasons garnered a lot of love from the fans all around. By making them nostalgic and bringing the new generation into The Karate Kid series, Cobra Kai won everyone’s hearts. However, the setback happened when YouTube Premium dropped the series due to a change in its policy. Since then, Cobra Kai was looking for a new home. In 2020, Netflix announced that it will telecast the first two seasons on August 28, 2020.

Cobra Kai is set 34 years after the original Karate Kid film and takes us along Johnny Lawrence’s point of view. His decision to reopen the Karate dojo not only attracts special students but also attracts his long-term nemesis’s hatred. The series has uncovered quite a lot in two seasons about the rivalry between Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso.

What is the official news about Cobra Kai Season 3?

Without beating around the bush, we are pleased to inform you that Cobra Kai Season 3 will premiere on Netflix in 2021.

We know it’s a happy news that Cobra Kai has finally found a home.

Thank God, our show is not homeless!

However, the news is also a little upsetting that we have a year more in waiting. But, hey, let’s focus on the good here.

Cobra Kai Season 3 is taking so long for a few reasons. One of them is that the season will have 30 languages dubbing. That is a lot of work. To put everything together for everyone on the same date is a big task. The announcement just came, so the third season has a lot of marketing work pending. However, knowing Netflix, it shouldn’t be such a big ordeal.

Trailer and Plot of Cobra Kai Season 3

Netflix not only gave us the good news but also gave us a solid piece of proof. The trailer for Cobra Kai Season 3 is also here.

The plot discovery we make through the above-shown trailer is that in Cobra Kai Season 3, we will see a big revelation. Daniel-san will come to know the biggest secret about his original mentor Mr. Miyagi’s identity. Pat Morita, who passed away back in 2005, left a secret in his character, so whatever it will be, will come out in Season 3.

John Kreese will take the ownership of Cobra Kai dojo. This will come with a lot of drama because his violent tutelage methods don’t fit in with the students of Cobra Kai. So, if Johnny wants to win the dojo back, he has to win the students back first. In the second season, Miguel had a serious accident at the hands of Robby. So, we will see whether he recovers fully or not. Miyagi-Do was re-opened for the wrong reasons. The students want to just defeat Cobra Kai students. So, its fate will also have an interesting route in the third season.
