Katy Perry and Taylor Swift Settle Score and Reveal their Friendship Status and We couldn’t be happier

Before Katy Perry appeared in Taylor Swift’s “You need to calm down”, many suspected that there was a “bad blood” between the two divas. While we always love a bit of a drama in Hollywood, we are always ready to see a reconciliation. The American Idol judge recently opened up in an interview about her current relationship with Taylor in a candid interview with Stellar magazine quoting, “We don’t have a very close relationship because we are very busy.” “But we text a lot,” she quipped.

Understandably, the two divas carry busy schedules, Perry stressed that it was important for her to be a part of “You need to calm down”. Fans still cannot get over the fact that the two divas managed to pull off a meet-cute in her music video as they both appeared in a burger and ketchup costume. They even hug it out at the end of the video which is often quoted as “impromptu” rather than rehearsed.

“Even though it was difficult, it was important to make that appear in the music video because people want people to look up to,” Perry told the publication. “We wanted to be an example of unity.”  “Forgiveness is important. It’s so powerful. If you can forgive your enemy, that’s amazing. As difficult as it is!”

And this was a long time coming, both the divas had always conferred to the same result. Just last year on Ellen, Perry even quoted that the feud between her and Tay-Tay was often misquoted and was usually just a small “misunderstanding.”

“It was actually just a misunderstanding but we have such big groups of people that like to follow us, and so they kind of started turning against each other a little bit too,” quoted Perry.

While Tay-Tay has not commented on Perry’s latest quip, it will come as no surprise if she reverts the same thing.
