Sex Education Season 3 is confirmed and we are going gaga over it. The show premiered on January 11, 2019, on Netflix. The first season gathered 40 million viewers after its debut. That is a milestone and it explains why the show was renewed for a third season. The second season premiered on January 27, 2020. The show is a story of teenagers at Moordale High. Otis Milburn sets up a sex advice clinic along with Maeve Wiley. The business seemed to go well with teenagers getting into the relationships of their choice. But, they start discussing genuine topics when chlamydia out broke.
Not many shows can deliver what they want in a heartfelt manner but this show did. It throws light on how much sex is dominant in teenagers’ lives nowadays and teaches them about sexuality without judging them. A fan on Google Reviews wrote, “The show conveys the message to accept your flaws and teaches that everyone is beautiful in their skin. It covers sensitive topics that inform about the changes they go through growing up.”
Will we see Sex Education Season 3?
Yes, absolutely yes, you will see Sex Education season 3! The official announcement came through none other than Headmaster Groff in a video on Netflix’s YouTube channel.
Sex Education Season 3’s announcement came just as expected. This comedy-drama is among the top ten most popular series in the UK and the US on Netflix. Regarding its popularity, Asa Butterfield in an interview said, “Being able to show these very real people in very awkward and funny and potentially embarrassing moments, and to normalize it, I think people have responded to that.”
Release Date
The official channel of Netflix has pinned its comment saying “Pre-empting comments: no news on the date yet.” So, we don’t have any certain date for Sex Education Season 3. However, both the previous seasons came out in January. So, we can expect the trailer and the season to come out in January 2021 if everything goes well. Asa Butterfield in an interview with Digital Spy said, “There’s still a lot going on behind the scenes, in terms of scripts being sent and conversations about projects that will hopefully start once things go back to normal.”
The plot
The second season’s ending came quite unexpectedly. It did not feel complete. Hence, there are certain things in the plot that left us wondering. In Sex Education Season 3, we hope to see more of Otis and Maeve. We hope they finally get together in this new season. Butterfield said, “I think it’s a great relationship – not even in a romantic sense, but they really understand each other, and they get the best out of each other as people.” About the third season’s opening episode, he said he was happy with how it turned out.

In the third season, we expect to see Eric and Adam officially. In the second season, we did not quite like how Rahim was treated. So, we hope he finds someone new, maybe Anwar. Jean and Jakob’s relationship will also get tested.
The cast of Sex Education Season 3

In the announcement video, we can see the following actors return for the third season:

Of course, the season is going to be better because Laurie Nunn told that the writers’ room was the busiest. She said, “I think for me the most important person that we worked with is that we have a sex educator that feeds back on the script, making sure that the right information is in there and that we’re not putting anything in the show that could be potentially harmful.”
