Gentefied Season 2 Renewal Status
The first season came out on February 21. The show is available on Netflix. Exactly after three months, Netflix announces that there is going to be a second season. The announcement was made on May 18. Season 2 will have 8 episodes, two less than the previous season. The episodes will be of about 30 minutes.
The series is bilingual and it bases itself on the Sundance web series of 2017. It involves three Mexican-American cousins. They discover the gentrification of their neighborhood while working at their family taco shop. The story begins from there and everything follows.
Release Date
There is just an announcement for the upcoming second season. But there is no confirmation about the release date just yet. However, due to the global coronavirus pandemic, everything is currently on hold. However, the cast and the makers often come up for virtual meetings.
