Splatoon 3 is an odd-looking third-person shooter game. It is slimy and colorful. The game is cheerful yet gloomy. It is a game of paradox, entertaining yet killing. The game is developed and published by Nintendo. Its characters are unique and form the attraction point of the game. Or you can say, the characters of the game are the game. They are anthropomorphic and cephalopodic based on squids and octopi. They transform into humanoid and cephalopod versions at will. The first game of the series came out in 2015 for the Wii U. A sequel Splatoon 2, released in 2017 for the Nintendo Switch. The series has sold over 15 million copies. Not only that, but it has also spawned a manga series and a whole music concert in Japan.
What makes Splatoon exciting?
The game is loved for its style, gameplay mechanics, and soundtrack. The players can swim in their own ink. They can customize their avatars. The weapons are exciting and the music tracks always keep you grooving. The TV promos do not leave anything behind. They are forward and induce nostalgia. A fan on Google Reviews wrote, “I don’t just love Splatoons, I live it. If it ever disappears, I would never be the same again.” So, if that explains the hype for the game and gets you hooked too, you probably want to know about the next edition.
When will Splatoon 3 release?
We are currently waiting for the confirmation date of the game’s new edition. The second edition came among us during the festive season, so the assumptions are that Splatoon 3 will come by the end of 2020.

What can you see in Splatoon 3?
During Christmas 2019, Nintendo posted a picture with a caption, “The stars from Splatoon and Splatoon 2 are staying fresh, even if it’s frosty! But where’s Marina?” This gave rise to the speculation that the plot may be somewhat different. The fans formed various conjectures, saying that this might not be any plot reveal but the fact that Marina has gone to Octo Canyon to celebrate Octivus. Another contradicted saying that in 2018 Splatfest, she said that she has no family to return to.

Splatoon 3 introduces two new idol groups – Rising Tide and Radio-Octave – with Radio-Octave often interrupting Rising Tide’s broadcast. Splatoon 3 also has several options for local play, as well as an expanded Hero Mode. The plot will include Parkour hitting the streets of Inkopolis and making its way to Turf Wars. You will see big gameplay changes in Splatoon 3. You will see changed actions, echolocation, and weapons for the same. We will keep the weapons info hidden until you get your hands on the game.
On second thought, we can give you some names. The altered weapons will include:
- A floaty jump for Brella users
- Wave slosh will be pretty easy to perform than a direct slosh
- Vertical swing with a Roller.
That’s all you get. Wait till the game comes out, which is hopefully soon, and you can get lost in your inked fantasy.
