Lego Batman Movie is a superhero comedy film created by the Warner Animation Group and released by Warner Bros. Pictures. It was directed by Chris McKay, composed by Seth Grahame-Smith, Chris McKenna, Erik Sommers, Jared Stern, and John Whittington, and produced by Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Phil Lord, and Christopher Miller.
Yeah, the latest as of today is that after two lackluster appearances in the franchise, WB appears to be doubling down on Batman again to come in to save the day, no surprises.
The Lego Batman Movie 2 Release Date
Does anybody else think that a sequel to 2017’s The LEGO Batman Movie has already been announced? I could have believed that Warner Cartoon Group had given the go-ahead a sequel. Still, it turns out that no move has been made via official outlets –that is, before producer Chris McKay had announced on Twitter that he’s “right now” working on LEGO Batman Movie 2.
There is no definitive sort of news about this, but since we know for sure that a sequel is in active development, we would expect to see a trailer next year, considering how intensive the animation process is here, particularly with the Legos. That would place us well amid the summer 2021 release date, or better yet, February 2021, four years after the release of the first film.
Cast
The key players in this game are all top class and half the explanation that much of the humor in this film functions the way it does. So if and when the sequel comes, it will be wise to expect the presence of Will Arnett as Bruce Wayne / Batman in a role meant for him; he is already a pop star in all Lego movies, Zach Galifianakis as The Joker; Michael Cera as Richard “Dick” Grayson / Robin; Rosario Dawson as Barbara Gordon / Batgirl; Ralph Fiennes as Alfred Pennyworth; Jenny Slate as Harley Quinn; Héctor Elizondo as Commissioner James Gordon; and Lauren White as Chief O’Hara.
Plot
We will see the fight between Batman and these scalawags. Possibly one more time, we can see Batman and Joker’s own confrontation. There are expanded expectations that the plot subtleties would circle Batman tolerating his bat family!
If you haven’t seen the first movie yet! We would urge you to see it without any further delay.
