When Will ‘Ozark Season 4’ Release? All You Need To Know about Season 4!

Must Read

Even though the finale may have overstated its hand, Season Three of Ozark was another rewarding entry in the show. You saw Jonah use a drone to peep on Ellie Pierce and witness a competing gang executing a crime band in about the same zeal, Wendy eating Burger King with her brother moments before demanding his murder, and Ruth branding Wendy a bitch. Traditional.

Fortunately, Netflix has announced that Ozark will return for one final, two-part 14-episode-long season. And we’ll actually see who rises to the top— Marty, Wendy, Omar Navarro, maybe even Ruth.

In its Season Three End, Ozark did a task to set up what’s next in Season Four. Wendy murdered her brother in Episode Nine, and, in Episode 10, Ozark put so much groundwork for future installments, setting up Marty and Wendy’s ascension to Omar Navarro’s right side, that it’s relatively easy to picture what the show would be like moving forward.

Ozark Season 4 Release Date

For now, it’s impossible to predict when the newest episodes are going to air. Ozark does not generally follow a rigid release timetable, depending on the multiple obligations of its actors, with Season 1 debuting back in July 2017, Season 2 a bit over a year away in August 2018, and Season 3 not starting until March 2020. With that in mind and the reality that Netflix had halted production of all its originals in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, you certainly shouldn’t presume to see any of the Byrdes and their sinister allies as early as late as 2021.

Ozark Season 4 Plot

Throughout the conclusion of season three, Marty and Wendy Byrde collaborated more openly with the Navarro organization than ever before, when criminal lord Omar Navarro revealed that this was the start of increased coordination with the three of them. The Byrdes had won Navarro by working (briefly) with the FBI to end the gang war by overthrowing the rival Lagunas cartel.

We will hope to see more about Ruth and her decision to break ties with Byrdes–how are things going to work between her, Darlene, and the KC Mob?

Season 4 will also look at Wendy’s choice to let her brother Ben die, and the effect that could have on her and the rest of her family—especially Jonah Byrde, who took his uncle’s death seriously.
