The sci-fi drama will be back with Another Life Season 2. The creator Aron Martin proudly announces that the series will be back on Netflix for another season. The show first came out on July 25, 2019. The announcement for the second season was done in October 2019. Ever since the end of the first season, fans have been eagerly waiting for the second installment to come up. The lead actress of the show Katee Sackhoff also confirms that the series can run for another three seasons. Besides, the show is fast-paced and the thrill keeps you glued to your seats. Another Life Season 2 Release Date
There is no official confirmation about the release date. The production was supposed to begin in Vancouver this year. However, due to the current coronavirus situation worldwide, the production is on hold. There is no certainty about when things will start at their normal pace again. The creators now need more time to release the show. So we can expect Another Life season 2 to come anytime between 2021 to 2022. It will be available on Netflix.
Cast
We can expect to see some familiar faces in season 2. We will definitely see Katee Sackhoff as Niko, as season 2 won’t happen without her. Justin Chatwin will be playing Erik Wallance, Blu Hunt playing August Catawnee, Samuel Anderson playing William.
A.J. Riviera will also be there playing Bernie Martinez, Elizabeth Ludlow playing Cas Isakovic. Selma Blair playing Harper Glass along with a new addition Tongayi Chirisa will also be a part of the show. the people whom we will not see are Jake Abel as was killed and Salvare’s pilot.
Another Life Season 2 Plot
Season 2 will probably follow the footsteps of the first season. In season 1 we saw two different lives, one of Niko and the other of Erik. Niko travels through space and Erik, Niko’s husband is left home alone with the kids. Erik leads his expeditions on Earth. Therefore, the season jumps back and forth between them and their lives. However, we also see glimpses of space aliens. These aliens are not as friendly as they hoped for them to be.
At the end of the season, we see Harper Glass, the journalist confronting these aliens. She says they are not harmful and just want to be friends with humans. However, it reveals that her mind is under the influence of Achaia. So we can hope season 2 o pick up from here.
