All those who love history and some gruesome battle scenes, Vikings Season 7, is something you must be waiting for. On foxexclusive.com, we will give you all the updates.
Vikings is an American historical drama TV series, whose creator is Michael Hirst. History channel gave the biggest present for the Viking lifestyle fanatics in 2013. History TV has garnered a lot of attention and love for the show in the past seven years. It has an IMDb rating of 8.5. The show’s storytelling and the cinematography is fabulous and praiseworthy. The scenic locations are drool-worthy. The show also shows Scandinavian gods and heroes, along with Christian beliefs, whose amalgamation does not offend open-minded people at all.
Vikings is inspired by the sagas of Viking Ragnar Lothbrok, the greatest hero of all. He is the legendary Norse hero, who is not-so worshipped in France and England due to his scourge. The show displays his life, his transition from a farmer to a conqueror to a Scandinavian King. In the later seasons, the show also portrays the advents of his prodigy in England, Scandinavia, and the Mediterranean.
Will there be a Vikings Season 7?
In January 2019, an announcement confirmed that a twenty-episode sixth season would premiere in late 2019. Along with this announcement, we also came to know that this season will mark the end of the series. So, there won’t be Vikings Season 7. This came as sad news for some. However, ever since the exit of Travis Fimmel, the show lost its flavor. The fans said that the acting and aura of the younger cast is not as strong as the previous cast. The historical events also felt more skewed. A fan on Google reviews wrote, “As a historical geek, I was well aware that as each season progressed, those actual historical events were being distorted by the writers.”
The sixth season’s part two has still not premiered. Looking at the past scenario, the second part will air in November. This will mark the finale of the show.
Good news for Vikings fan
We know you might not be ecstatic, knowing that your fav show will not have any more parts. However, Hirst said in an interview with TV Guide, “I am beyond excited that we are announcing the continuation of our Vikings saga. Jeb Stuart will bring new storylines and a powerful, visceral vision to stories about some of the most famous Vikings known to history.”
It will stem exclusively on Netflix and not on History or Amazon. The spinoff will have 24 episodes as per the current contract. It will show 100 years after the current show’s timeline and focus on the stories of William the Conqueror, Leif Erikson, Harald Hardrada, and Freydis.
Vikings Season 6 part two will show who is the final owner of the throne of Kattegat. Though we will not see Vikings Season 7, we are excited to watch Netflix’s Vikings: Valhalla.
