It seems to be a distant dream for Alita Battle Angel 2. No other streamer including Disney has any interest in making a sequel for Battle Angel. However, it has the full support of fans behind it. When Alita: Battle Angel came out in 2019, there was a petition regarding it. Reports say that three was a plane funded by the fans to reach the red carpet of Oscars. This was in the year 2020. Alita Battle Angel 2 Release Date
There is no official confirmation about a sequel for Battle Angel. In 2019, Rosa Salazar confirms that she did not hear anything about a sequel just yet. However, the movie has a dedicated fan base. In most cases, this is just enough to get a sequel. Apart from this, the first installment makes a decent of $404.9 million given the dedication of the fans.
So we are hoping for Battle Angel to come with a sequel. But whether or not our prayers will be heard is not known yet. If at all we see a sequel of Battle Angel, then we know whom to expect as the cast. We will surely see Rosa Salazar reprising her role as Alita. Michelle Rodriguez and Jai Courtney might also reprise their respective roles. As of now, these are just our assumptions. There is no certain news about anything yet.

There is no official confirmation about the plot. However, we do know that the first part intends to be a complete story. Even though it does not answer all our questions, it does have a beginning, middle, and end. Alita has a fair understanding of herself and her place in the world. In the process, she loses Hugo, the love of her life. She also returns to Zalem, the mysterious city as the Nova leader.
However, there have been certain mysteries regarding Alita’s life. These mysteries are not completely explained in the movie. However, Cameroon says there was no obvious explanation about these facts in the original manga itself. Yukito Kishiro wrote the original manga. But, if we are to expect a plot, we will hope to get all our questions answered. We are certain that Alita Battle Angel will pick up from where the first part ends. However, we need to wait to know anything for sure.
