The show is created by Warren Ellis and is based on Japanese video game series by Konami. The project was originally a film, but when Adi Shankar came across it, he developed it into a TV series on Netflix. In this show, nothing ever feels rushed. Castlevania is based on the story of the vampire Count Dracula who curses the entire village after people burnt his wife. To get his revenge, he summons an army of demons to ruin Wallachia. This created fear among the people. So, to overthrow Dracula, a monster hunter Trevor Belmont starts plotting against Dracula’s army.

Season three left some threads hanging. Taka and Sumi betrayed Alucard after he taught them how to defeat the vampires. Even though he killed them pretty gruesomely, he started becoming like his father. He isolated himself, but he can embrace his vampire blood to sort that out.
In the new season, we can see Carmilla taking over Wallachia after Hector’s enslavement. Trevor and Sypha defeated the Dracula worshipping cult, but maybe the portal never closed. St German can come back or perhaps even Dracula himself. Alucard is in a pretty bad place, replicating scenarios of his father, so it won’t be surprising if someone else is planning to take him down. Maybe, Trevor and Sypha will do that.
Actress Alejandro Reynoso recently said, “In regards of Season 4, all I can say is it’s coming, and it’s going to be amazing, I can say that.”

When will Castlevania Season 4
Castlevania season 3 can out in March 2020. On March 27, 2020, via a Tweet, Netflix announced Castlevania Season 4.
Warren Ellis expressed his happiness about the third season’s success in his blog. He wrote, “Shows tend to show a little attrition in the third season, and it was unusual to see the audience rise by multiple factors.” However, any premiere date hasn’t been in the news. Due to the pandemic, the plans must have further delayed. Also, the third season came out after approximately two years, so we cannot expect Castlevania Season 4 to come out before 2021.
