However, it was just recently when Netflix officially confirms the release of season 3.
Release Date
Now with the official confirmation of season 3, the pressure is on for the makers. Season 1 came out in April 2018 and soon after season 2 floods, in December 2019. However, even though we have a season confirmation, we are still unsure of the release date. But Netflix schedules the release of the show by 2021. Due to the global coronavirus pandemic, the production is currently on hold. So it is just fair if we expect the show to release anywhere in mid-2021.

Lost In Space Season 3 Trailer
The trailer for season 2 came out in October 2020. So fans expect the first trailer for season 3 to come out in October 2020. The trailer can also be in sync with the Comic-Con in New York. However, this will only happen if the productions do not highly suffer given the present situation. But we will be waiting for it to appear on the screens soon.
Plot
The Story of Lost in Space revolves around the Robinson family and their space adventures. In the second season, we saw the division of the Robinson family by space robots. It is only Judy who steers the spaceship Jupiter 2 and takes charge. It is her responsibility to fly the youngsters safely. Meanwhile, we see the parents fighting the robots for their defense. So we can expect season 3 to pick up from where season 2 ends. However, we need to wait for the trailer to release to know everything for sure.
