She works at CatCo Worldwide Media as a reporter as well as acts as a protector of the National City. She lived her life with her foster sister and mentor, Alex. When will we get Supergirl Season 6?
The CW renewed Supergirl for a sixth season in January 2020. It would have come out in October 2020 if the world was ordinary. But, due to the Coronavirus outbreak, it will release in January 2021. The episodes will air on Sundays at 9 PM EST. The season will return midseason like Legends of Tomorrow.
There are other reasons for the show’s delay too. Show’s lead actress Melissa Benoist is on maternity leave, so that has also pushed back the filming. The leave will give her enough time to recover so that she can be our Supergirl better than ever.

The Plot Details
In Supergirl Season 6, we will see Kara maturer and stronger than ever. The fifth season’s ending was hastily written. The original plan was not carried out. Actor Jon Cryer, who plays the role of Lex Luthor, said, “The way my character was thwarted now doesn’t happen anymore. So I was like, ‘Oh, did I not get defeated? Wait a minute; I like this!”
So, it is safe to say that he will still be a thorn to the Superfriends and will continue to demolish all good plans. However, Alex Danvers took up the role of a masked vigilante in the season 5 finale so that it will be a new twist for her relationship with Kara. The impact of Crisis changed the location of National City to the new Earth-Prime. Hence, the sixth season will offer a new dynamic.
The Midseason announcement also implies that there can be lesser episodes of Supergirl Season 6.
