Solo Leveling is a South Korean web novel written by Chugong. It got serialized in KakaoPage under the illustration of Jang Sung-rak. There are two volumes of this series. The first volume came out on September 26, 2019. The second volume’s initial release date was early 2020. However, due to the outbreak of the COVID-19, the makers had to halt it.
Solo Leveling Premise
Solo Leveling is an action and fantasy-based novel. When a portal connecting our world to the world of monsters and otherworldly beasts, opened, people took upon themselves the role of beast hunters and took off. The story’s protagonist is ‘Sung Jin-woo’, who is the weakest of all the hunters and is the weakest of Rank E hunters. This makes him no special hunter. Others call him ‘the weakest.’
One day, the hunters get trapped in a dark grimly dungeon, from where only a few escaped. Sung Jin-woo was one of the safe ones. His trial in the dungeon made him a player and emerged powerful than the rest. He could see the interface that shows him stats, dangers, trials, and levels. The story followed him, proving himself as one of the best hunters, and the second season will show whether he becomes the best hunter or not.

Solo Leveling Season 2 Release Date
When the second season could not come out in May, the makers announced that it would come out in August. On August 1, the two episodes came out together, with the 113th episode released on August 8. This was instead a surprising but loved move because people could not hold their excitement that their favorite manga’s second season is here. The chapter 114 will release on August 13, 2020.
Solo Leveling Season 2 Plot
The first season had 110 episodes. The last episode ended in a cliffhanger, a rather important one. The ending made everyone wonder whether Sung Jin-woo will be able to uphold the player’s status that he acquired. In the first two episodes of Season 2, we saw that Hunter Woo is stronger than ever. S-ranked Hunter, Chae-Han In invited him to join the guild.
Solo Leveling season 2 began with the Necromancer arc from the light novel. In Solo Leveling Season 2, we will see a transformation of Woo. We noticed that the lady was fearing Woo. Why? What will Woo do after joining the guild? In chapter 114, we can see a battle between Chae-Han In and Woo’s shadow, Beru.
