Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse 2 Release Date
The official confirmation for the release date for the animation series is April 8, 2022. Fans are excited since they have been waiting for this for a long time. However, it is still a long wait. Besides, due to the global coronavirus pandemic, all productions are on hold. So given the situation, we can expect a little delay in the release date.
Nick Kondo, the animator, mentions that the production work for the series has begun already. They are continuing to manufacture this series amidst the global coronavirus pandemic. It is only the cartoon work that is left. It will start anytime soon, once the situation permits.
Cast
There is not much information about the cast just yet. But we know for sure that Shameik Moore will return as Miles Morales a.k.a Spider-Man. We will also see Hailee Steinfeld reprising her role as Gwen Stacy, a.k.a Spider-Gwen. We might even see Brian Tyree Henry playing Jefferson Davis, father of Miles. Luna Lauren Velez might also return as Rio Morales, mother of Miles. Kathryn Hahn playing Doctor Octopus, is also set to have a massive role in the series.
Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse 2 Plot
The series is an animated, computerized superhero movie. The film takes its inspiration from the Marvel comics. Sony Pictures Animation, along with Columbia Pictures, produced the series. They are all affiliated with Marvel. Coming back to the plot, it intends to focus on the relationship between Miles and Gwen.
However, it may pick up from where season 1 ends. The first season ends with a revelation. It states that even if Miles and his spider friends return to their realities, they can still communicate. They can also travel back between dimensions. Therefore, even though the plot is meant to focus on the pair, we might see some plot holes. We need to stay tuned to guess anything for sure.
