Cobra Kai Storyline
Cobra Kai is a loved American TV show. It has elements of martial arts, comedy, drama, and action-comedy.
That sounds like a package, doesn’t it?
It is based on The Karate Kid film series. It premiered in 2018 and has an IMDb rating of 8.8. The television series takes place 34 years after the original film and follows the reopening of the Cobra Kai karate Dojo by Johnny Lawrence and the rekindling of his old rivalry with Daniel LaRusso. Then, the students come into the scene. Johnny’s Dojo attracts social outcasts as his students. On the other hand, his son falls under the tutelage of Daniel. However, things change when Daniel comes to know the truth about Robby.
What will happen in Cobra Kai Season 3?
We have very little information about the third season’s plot. We will see Daniel going back to Okinawa, Japan. It means we can also Karate Kid Part 2’s Kumiko and Chozen. Following Miguel’s injury, we can also see Kreese taking over Cobra Kai Dojo. In the third season’s ending, we saw a glimpse of a Facebook request to Johnny. It was from no other than his ex Ali. We can see their rekindled relationship. (If he sees the request.)
In Season 3, we will see flashbacks of John Kreese in Vietnam. We will get to know about his past and how it shaped him into a strong warrior.

Release Date and New Platform
Now, comes the information about the release and where we can watch it. Cobra Kai was renewed for season 3 on May 2, 2019. On May 28, 2020, information started surfacing about the season’s delay and it getting a new platform. On June 22, 2020, its move to Netflix was confirmed. The two previous seasons will also move to the platform on August 28, 2020. However, the third season will come out at the end of next year’s summer. It was announced by co-creator John Hurwitz in a Twitter Q&A session.
Netflix vice president of original series, Brian Wright said, “The appeal of The Karate Kid saga is timeless, and Cobra Kai picks up right where it left off without missing a beat. We are thrilled to be its new home around the world.”
The platform change will enhance the show’s universality. Earlier, the show was only getting dubbed in Hindi, now it will have 30 languages dubbed.
