Wakfu Season 4, is a French animated series developed by Ankama Animation, based on the video game Wakfu. It is a series that this new generation grew up watching. The animation is done on Adobe Flash software. The show depicts a moving tale with a pinch of humor and a sprinkle of French glory, making it a perfect series for all. The first season premiered in 2008. Netflix acquired the right to the show from Season 3 onwards. Netflix’s COO said, “French animators are among the best and most innovative in the world. Netflix expects to strengthen further our relationship with Ankama and other French animation studios.”
Wakfu is a story of an adopted boy, Yugo, who is in search of his roots and background. In the course of his journey, he encounters an array of heroic adventures and discovers that he strange powers and an out of the world fate. It also shows parts of the yin and yang concept, that no evil is entirely dark, and no hero is pure light. The show has an 8.3 IMDb rating, and it is reported that this season will mark the end of this animated series.
Wakfu Season 4 Plot
The third season left quite a few questions unanswered. What is going to happen in God Island? Will Yugo and Amalia be together? The land seemed completely ruined. Where are the Twelve Gods? Is there any connection what their recent victory over Oropo and the ruin in Ingloriom?
Wakfu is also the game in the same style as Dofus. Season 4 will show the next adventures of the Brotherhood of the Tofu, and the turning moment between the Wakfu era and the age of Waven. The series will have thirteen episodes. In June 2020, a Kickstarter crowdfunding approach was started to cover up the cost because every episode costs several hundred thousand euros.
In the previous seasons, we have seen an excellent combination of humor and emotion with surprises unfolding as it proceeds. That is the same we can expect in Wakfu Season 4.
The Cast and Crew
The show received a lot of love for the French animation style and vices. So, Ankama has decided to keep the same cast. We will see the work of the same team of animators, artists, musicians, and scriptwriters. The creator of Wakfu universe, Anthony Roux, a.k.a. ToT will be the chief scriptwriter.

Release Date of Wakfu season 4
On May 7, 2020, Ankama announced that Wakfu Season 4 is in production and will be the last season of the series. We can see the fourth season in April 2021.
