We have one more update on Mirzapur Season 2 here. During the pan-India pandemic situation, actor Ali Fazal is dubbing for the second season of his web series Mirzapur. The 33-year-old actor played the role of Govind Pandit, aka Guddu in Season 1.
“I am using a strainer to lend my voice from here. I’ve got Bluetooth,” the young actor captioned his picture on Twitter. He was referring to a tweet from the streaming site, featuring photos from a studio dubbing of his fellow “Mirzapur” co-stars Shweta Tripathi Sharma and Divyendu Sharmaa. “We’re going,” the Saturday read post shared, The New Indian Express reported.
Not only Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Divyendu Sharma, and Rasika Dugal follow the same route as well. The roles of Golu, Munna, and Beena were played by Shweta Tripathi, Divyendu Sharma, and Rasika Dugal, respectively.

In Mirzapur Season 1, after their encounter with Munna Bhaiya, Bablu and Guddu became engaged in the world of crime, drugs, and abuse. When will Mirzapur Season 2 release?
Amazon Prime Video released a birthday anniversary trailer on November 15 last year. The video showed that the second season would come put in 2020.
But, it’s been confirmed a long way now. Its original release date was in December. Then, at the beginning of this year, there were talks that it could release in August. However, before COVID-19, the team could only finish half-way production. “We had dubbed a few episodes before the lockdown, so we picked up mid-way. It was great to be back because this has been an unusually long break,” Ali Fazal said in an interview with India Today.
So, what happens about the release date? We know that the actors are back on set for dubbing and giving final touches. It seems unlikely that it will release in August because no promotions have started yet. December seems a long way. So, according to our sources, the new date for Mirzapur Season 2 release is November 23, 2020.
