Goblin Slayer Season 2 is dark, gruesome, and controversial. Goblin Slayer is a Japanese dark fantasy anime TV series written by Kumo Kagyu, and the first season premiered from October 7 to December 30, 2018. An anime film ‘Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown’ premiered in February 2020. The show revolves around a beautiful young Priestess who joins her first adventuring group. However, things go wrong when the goblins surround this party. They wipe the rest of her party, but when they turn to her, mighty Demon Slayer protects her. Thus, it starts an adventuring group of two.
If you have watched the first season, you will know precisely why it’s controversially loved. What does that even mean? It means that this anime has made a home in people’s hearts even after the nudity scenes and offensive scenes. Nonetheless, this anime was re-rated R later on. But, what attracted the audience was that this show explicates heroism without glory because the hero only takes out the goblins, and not every project keeps the hero to his roles alone.
When will Goblin Slayer Season 2 air?
In February, the movie did quite well on the charts. After watching it, our curiosity to see more of Goblin Slayer became more apparent. It’s been two years since the first season premiered. And two years is a lot.
Before Coronavirus, the expected release date for Goblin Slayer season 2 was around October 2020. However, just like all the other entertainment projects, the anime’s production also had to halt. Since the pandemic, there has not been any news confirming whether the second season is again under construction. However, good things take time. We expect Goblin Slayer Season 2 to come out in early 2021. We have to wait for the makers’ official confirmation.
The cast of Goblin Slayer Season 2?
In the previous season, there were quite a few voice-over artists at work. These include voices for different sorts of trolls, goblins, and of course, the main characters. We can expect the same cast again in the second season. The main voice-over cast will include:

The possible plot
The first season adapted volumes 1-2 and parts of book 4. The new movie adapted the entire Volume 5, so there are around seven volumes still left for adaptation. That leaves a wide array of plot changes and twists. If the makers are planning to give us more seasons, we can expect the proper distribution of the manga and books among them.
The first season ended with Goblin Slayer emerging as a winner over the Goblin Warlord. In season 2, we can expect a robust and more durable gang of goblins led by an equally fearless goblin leader to face our Goblin Slayer. You can always read books to give food to your curiosity.
