Well, if we talk about the reasons behind this big crash then there are many to put into the list. And the biggest of them is the landing at a wrong time.

According to many reports, the Air India Express plane tried to land on the runway of the tabletop Kozhikode international airport two times. For those who don’t know what is a tabletop runway then it is a runway on the top of a plateau or hill with one or both ends adjacent to a steep elevation, which drops into a gorge.

Plus, the weather conditions were not favourable for lading into that tabletop runway. As it is both dangerous and challenging at the same time. But, the risk was taken and results were disastrous. Just after the plane landed on the runway it slipped off and fell into the deep gorges and in no time it broke into two pieces like a toy plane.
