The Dragon Prince Season 4 is en route for the fans. On July 24, 2020, it was confirmed that Netflix picked up the series for the entire saga. This includes four more seasons, each of nine episodes. Co-creator Aaron Ehasz unveiled the good news to the cast during Comic-Con Panel. As expected, the cast expressed its ecstasy to have a chance to continue their work.
Aaron said, “We are extremely grateful to the fans and community who have been so passionate and for the swell of passion around the show for season three. The way people politely told Netflix how badly they wanted the story to continue was inspiring.”
So, it’s safe to say that The Dragon Prince Season 4 is happening!
The Dragon Prince is set in a fantasy land of Xadia, where centuries ago, humans, elves, and dragons lived in peace. However, humans started using dark magic, which took its energy from the fellow-creatures, and thus, the continent was divided. The show is created by Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond on Netflix. It premiered on September 14, 2018, and has since made a home in people’s hearts.
When will The Dragon Prince Season 4 release?
We know about the fourth season’s renewal. However, we don’t know the release date yet. The animation takes a lot of time, and amidst the ongoing pandemic, everything has slowed down. Moreover, the makers are also working on setting up The Dragon Prince game.
There have also been rumors about misogynistic behavior inside the studio. That can also hamper the show’s growth currently. The question of when will it release is in the air right now. But, hopefully, we will watch the first episode in 2021.

What can we expect from The Dragon Prince Season 4?
Season 3 ended with Callum saving Rayla, Zym returning to his mother, Claudia reviving Viren using dark magic, and Aaravos’ caterpillar entering metamorphosis. This all led to further questions like What will come next in the relationship between Callum and Rayla? Will Callum enter into a magical fight with Claudia or Viren? What will happen next for Ezran’s kingship endeavors? And finally, What new plot the caterpillar will bring?
All the questions and boundless love and anticipation for the show made the makers decide for further installments. Let’ see if we get these questions’ answers in The Dragon Prince Season 4.
