The announcement for the new iMac was made on August 4, 2020. It was announced via press release rather than a social event. However, this is a classic signal of Apple, indicating that the megahype falls into the B category rather than A.

The new iMac 202 is available for preordering right now. From the beginning of this week, the product will be available in the market. The shipping of the products to the potential customers will also begin during this time. Keeping in mind the present market situation, the Uk stores are planning to deliver by August 6, Thursday. The significant spec detail that makes the headline is the intel processor. All the base configuration models come with i5 or i7, 10th generation intel. However, the silicon processor of Apple must wait. The 3.1GHz 6-core comes with i5, 256 GB SSD, and 8GB RAM and Radeon Pro 5300 4GB. The 3.3GHz 6-core comes with i5, 512GB SSD, and 8GB RAM and Radeon Pro 5300 4GB.

The 3.8GHz 8-core comes with i7, 512GB SSD, and 8GB RAM and Radeon Pro 5300 XT 8GB. All of these three base configurations also feature 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports. It also has a 5k display tone.  The new model is specifically faster, as Apple mentions it. The speakers are also high-fidelity, along with studio-quality microphones.
