The official trailer of the boys is about 3 minutes long. And it features Stormfront, a new member of The Seven. There is also a preview of the brutal and bloody set-pieces that we can expect from the show. However, Billy Butcher and Homelander take center stage in the trailer. In the finale episode of season 1, we saw Butcher’s world being on a topsy turvy. His missing wife returns with a son as a reward.
Hereafter the trailer spins out into a chaotic situation. However, we all love a little chaos from The Boys. Seeing the trailer, we can expect this season to be bloodier than the first. There are also some gross moments that we need to cope up with. One of the scenes being, Stormfront is seen demanding laser to be shot on her chest from Homelander.
The Boys Season 2 Release Date

Cast
We can expect most of the cast members from season 1 to return. Karl Urban will reprise his role as Billy Butcher. Jack Quaid will reprise his role as Hughie. Chase Crawford as The Deep and Erin Moriarty as Starlight. The characters who die in season 1 will have flashbacks in season 2. There are also some new additions as well. However, the only original cast member who gains confirmation is Aya Cash. She plays Stormfront, an extremely powered neo-Nazi.
Plot
We are hopeful that season 2 will start from where season 1 ends. In the finale episode, we learned that butches wanted to take his revenge from Homelander. He believed that Homelander raped his wife and has driven her to commit suicide. But in the end, we see that Becca is very much alive and raising Homelander’s son in secret.
