This Is Us is an American romantic family drama created by Dan Fogelman. It aired on NBC on September 20, 2016. The series follows the lives of three siblings, Randall, Kevin, and Kate Pearson. They were born on the same day. It shows their life’s story and struggles individually. The family values inherited by Jack and Rebecca Pearson are passed on to their children, but with massive alterations. The show takes us along concepts like substance abuse, domestic violence, neglection, attention, adoption, and racial differences.

Will there be a Season 5?
Yes, there will be season 5 and season 6, which will mark the show’s end. While promoting the third season, the showrunner Isaac Aptaker mentioned that the team was working on “three seasons in the future.” NBC also posted the show’s renewal via Instagram.
When will This Is Us Season 5 air?
The pandemic has tossed over the plans for the show’s fifth season. It was initially decided that the fifth season will air on September 22, 2020. However, due to COVID-19, filming never began. Actress Mandy Moore who plays the role of Rebecca Pearson, said on Today show in July, “Right after the Fourth of July is when we typically go back.” She also mentioned that they would go back when it’s safe for them.
Actor Jon Huertas told Entertainment Weekly, “Dan Fogelman, and we were talking about, you know, we may not go into production until January depending on whether or not there’s a second wave.”
So, it depends on the shooting schedule. However, it is final that it will come on NBC. The question is, when?
