There is no virtue better than the virtue of serving your motherland. Jayman Sharma, the IYC President and an active member of Youth Congress & NSUI, proved nothing could stop you from serving the country, even when times are hard.

Born on 27th February 1987, growing up in a middle-class family Jayman Sharma son of Dinesh Sharma from Bapunagar – Ahmedabad, always knew that his true passion was social service and serving the country. Inspired by Mr Rahul Gandhi, he was adamant about being a part of the Youth Congress from the beginning.

With determination, he started his political journey in 2006 by joining NSUI while in college. From the day, he never stopped and added milestones to his success story. In 2009 he was elected as a Delegate from Thakkarbapanagar Vidhan sabha. In 2011 Jayman contested as NSUI candidate in Gujarat University Board for student Welfare elections, won the election by maximum votes, & was elected as a Welfare Member of Gujarat university.

The stepping stone of his journey was 2016, when Jayman Sharma participated and collected around 4000 membership forms which is the highest number in Gujarat’s assembly. And this was the year when he won this election and made the record of becoming PRESIDENT with the highest number of votes.

Since then, Jayman has always been there for people in every situation. Be it distributing kites on Occasion of Uttarayan or conducting rallies for justice to a soldier Ramkrishna & family; there are various notable events where Jayman participated.

A true leader is with people in their good and bad, and Jayman proved this. Jayman, during the demonetisation, offered help to old age people & physically disabled people to withdraw their money from the bank.

COVID-19 was a challenging period, and Jayman proved his uncanny service to all by offering aids like:

  • ●  Distribution of free food Packet (1500 food packets for 75 days
  • ●  Free Sanitizer & Mask to Poor People.

●  Helped 5000 migrant people to reach their native home safely with free food, water &


13 years of selfless service and consideration, Jayman’s dedication is truly admirable. A youth leader who has won thousands of hearts, Jayman is determined to serve all till the last breath. We wish all the good luck and hope to see Jayman Sharma as the future leader from Bapu Nagar ward 26.
