The Xiaomi sub-brand revealed on Weibo that the Redmi K40 series smartphones sold 300,000 items during the first five minutes of going on in China in Sale. It also mentioned that the product series will be available again for purchase again on March 8. Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro, and Redmi K40 Pro+ are smartphones in the Redmi K40 series. On February 25, the smartphones were released in China. Triple rear cameras, a hole-punch monitor style, and AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate are all featured on all three phones.
The Redmi K40 series selling units include all models and color choices of the Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro, and Redmi K40 Pro+ smartphones, according to Redmi’s Weibo update. Redmi hasn’t revealed each version’s sale, model, or how much of each color was sold. Previously, the company reported that the Xiaomi Mi 11 sold 350,000 units in the first five minutes after it went on sale.
Redmi K40 Series Specifications
The Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro, and Redmi K40 Pro+ are the three phones in the K40 series, and they all run on Android 11 with MIUI 12 on top. For selfie photos and video calls, the phone has a 20-megapixel camera sensor on the edge. It has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Infrared (IR), and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. The device has an in-display fingerprint sensor as well as a 4,520mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
