The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and several state boards have already announced thier date sheets for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. Even the dates of JEE Mains have been announced.
However, the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education(ICSE) Class 10th and Indian School Certificate(ISC) Class 12th Board Exam Dates are yet to be announced. The dates of NEET-UG 2021 are also not declared as of now. Students have been waiting eagerly for the announcement for quite a while now.
The ICSE and ISC board exams were usually conducted in February and March every year, but they have been delayed this year due to the pandemic. As per a report by The Telegraph, CISCE stated that it is waiting for the Election Commission’s announcement of upcoming assembly election dates.
The Election Commission of India announced the schedule for assembly elections in West Bengal, Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry yesterday.
A source has claimed that CISCE plans to release the date sheet for ICSE and ISC Board exams on Monday, March 1, 2021, and is expected to make the announcement by 2 PM IST. However, there can be delays, and the source’s claim should be taken a grain of salt. But we are certain that the dates will be announced by the end of the coming week.
The schedule, once released, will be available on the official website of the council.
