Samsung has taken the initiative of Powering Digital India where the company is willing and trying to launch cheap smartphones at budget segments and most importantly under INR 10,000 in India. The company is focused on launching all types of smartphones in different price segments for the Indian market.
Recently they had launched the Samsung Galaxy S21 series (flagship) and Galaxy M02s (budget) smartphones in India. The Samsung Galaxy M02s is a budget smartphone that is priced under INR 10,000 in India this month and the first one this year.
According to a recent report, Samsung India is planning to launch the Galaxy M02 in India very soon under INR 7,000 in India. The source says that the company will launch it to strengthen its Powering Digital India Initiative. The source also claims that the phone will have a 6.5-inches big display.
Recently the phone has been spotted on the NBTC Certification India’s support page. The device is also expected to have Snapdragon 450 SoC paired with 3GB RAM and is likely to feature the highest 64GB internal storage.
