The new variant of Coronavirus which is more dangerous than the previous one in the UK is causing a lot of damage. The United Kingdom sets a new record by reporting a record number of deaths from Covid-19 on Tuesday. In a duration of 24 hours, 1,610 people died. This is the maximum within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test. This new record exceeded the previous peak set last week.

The count of the patients was steeply up from the 599 deaths reported in official figures of Monday. If ew realistically think about it, there is also often a lag in reporting new deaths just after the weekend.

There were 33,355 new cases recorded, down from the 37,535 reported on Monday.

More About The Situation In The United Kingdom:

After the finding of this new variant of coronavirus in the United Kingdom, England and Scotland announced new national lockdowns on Jan. 4. This is in a bid to stem a surge in cases of another variant of the coronavirus late last year.

One great thing that needs people’s attention is that the lockdown in the United Kingdom has seen the peak of the cases well. The thing is that although the people are suffering, the situation needs to be controlled in a thorough manner. This is because although the peak of about 60000 cases has been reached and now cases are coming down down,  we can say that the death toll will continue to rise.

So, although there are reports from various health officials in the United Kingdom that the number of cases will decrease, there are huge chances of a critical situation and a rise in the death toll as cases started to decrease from 60000 on January 7th.

“Whilst there are some early signs that show our sacrifices are working, we must continue to strictly abide by the measures in place,” said Yvonne Doyle, Medical Director at Public Health England.

“By reducing our contacts and staying at home we will see a fall in the number of infections over time”. He had stated in his statement.

The figures released by the UK government has shown that around 4,266,577 people had already received the first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine. But, it is far away from the goal of the country’s government. The goal is to vaccinate about 15 million people by the ending of the month of February this year itself. Although it seems to be tough, it is possible.
