First Lady Melania Trump urged people to be “passionate in everything” in her farewell address and speech. She added that one should never respond with violence. Days after the US Capitol riots called against President Donald Trump’s “rigged election”.
Speaking as the US First Lady for the last time, Melania talked in a video message. She said that “Be passionate in everything you do but always remember that violence is never the answer and will never be justified.”
A party of Trump supporters stormed the US Capitol on January 6 to demonstrate against lawmakers confirming electoral slates from battleground US states that they felt were invalid. “Trump made a speech among thousands of supporters reiterating his claim that massive voter fraud has robbed his election victory. He encouraged supporters to maintain support to “stop the steal”. In the riot, five people died including one police officer and an Air Force veteran. Police also shot one of the Trump supporters who died eventually.

First Lady showed concern for the citizens amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Melania Trump urged the netizens to “use caution and common sense to protect the vulnerable as millions of vaccines are now delivering”.
She conveyed condolences to the COVID-19 victims. She also thanked “nurses, doctors, healthcare professionals, manufacturing workers, truck drivers, and so many others who are working to save lives”.
Melania also spoke about her ‘BE BEST’ initiative, noting that it has grown into a forum. It invites world leaders to address problems affecting children’s lives and share solutions.
The project of BE BEST focuses on some of the big challenges kids face today, according to the White House.
At the end of her speech, the First Lady said emotional words. “As I say farewell to my role as First Lady, it is my sincere hope that every American will do their part to teach our children what it means to Be Best. I ask parents to educate their children about courageous and selfless heroes. Those who worked and sacrificed to make this country the land of the free. And to lead by example and care for others in your community.”
Urging all Americans to be the Ambassador of ‘BE BEST‘, she said, “Together, as one national family, we can continue to be the light of hope for future generations and carry on America’s legacy of raising our nation to greater heights through our spirit of courage, goodness, and faith.”
