Aneko Yusagi was the writer of the Japanese light novel series, which has turned into a TV show. It is about our main hero Naofumi Iwatani, voiced by Kaito Ishikawa.
We get to know that he was an average university student until he reads a mysterious book in a library. He then weirdly finds himself in another world. He realizes three others accompany him and that they are one of the four cardinal heroes.
Our hero is given a legendary shield as a weapon, and this is where the story takes off. We go through multiple plot twists, both good and bad.

THE RISING OF THE SHIELD HERO RELEASE DATE?
On September 2019, it was confirmed that Rising of the Shield Hero would not only have a season 2 but the third one as well.
It was released on January 9, 2019, and has gained a good fan base ever since. Although we aren’t sure of the official release date of season 2, we can anticipate it to be released by 2020.
The season had a total of 25 episodes, the last one being ‘Tate no Yūsha no Nariagari’.

TROTSH: EXPECTED PLOT?
Season one should have ended with Naofumi being portrayed as the kind soul he is. But we get a cliffhanger instead. We hope to find some of the answers in season 2.
The show is paced around fighting the waves and learning more about the world. Season 2 will not be so gentle. It flows around major battles and crucial character development.
Excited fans have come up with several fan theories. We can also foresee to be showered with striking, eye-catching visuals and creative leaps.
