Teen Wolf has gathered up a huge fan base from all over the world. The show is inspired by the 1985 Michael J. Fox films and became a massive sensation at its arrival. It is not one of those light-hearted Fox film, it is filled with teenager angst, horror, and drama elements.
Teen Wolf Season 7: Is the release happening?
It has been confirmed by Jeff Davis who is the creator of the show that the sixth season of the show was the end of it. His contract with MTV ended with the sixth season and currently, there is no plan for the return of the seventh season.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the crew officially announced that the sixth season of the show would be the end of the road during Comic-Con 2016.
Even though the finale ended with some cliff-hangers, Davis said that it was supposed to be open-ended.
On June 26, 2020, the cast reunited for the 9th anniversary of the show Season 1 premiere.

Teen Wolf Season 7: What about the plot?
The sixth season wrapped up the stories of most of the characters effectively. But it did leave some unanswered questions.
Kira who left the show at the end of Season 5 was supposed to have her spin-off. She joins a group called the Skinwalkers. Here she would learn how to control the power effectively.
Davis also intended to turn her story into a spin-off. However, there has been no news on the spin-off. Neither Arden Cho nor the creators have revealed anything either.
