GoPro has made offers on its website about the very popular Black Friday/Cyber Sales Event of Monday 2020. Record-breaking turnover has also raised the number of customers of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to over 670,000. GoPro revealed it sold its 40 millionth camera this week, from 30 November to 6 December 2020, after its first-ever HD action unit was released in 2009. Nicholas Woodman, founder, and CEO of GoPro has also remembered its fans and client in the conquest of this record number worldwide.
“GoPro.com carried out the sales records of Black Friday – Cyber Monday, as we expected, to ensure we ended the year with more than 700,000 subscribers,” says Nicholas Woodman according to SGB Media Online. “We trust that we will have a low channel inventory and a promising outlook for 2021 to come out of 2020.”
“I wish to thank our customers from all over the world for helping us attain the milestone of 40 million cameras sold, on behalf of the GoPro employees, past and present,” continued Woodman. He said, “We love what we do because we love what we do.”
Compared to some 500,000 customers in the last year, GoPro dramatically raised its target of 670,000 customers and by the end of this year lowered its previous cautious goal of 600,000. Now it is advancing to its expected upper limit of nearly 700,000 by 2021.
