Outer Banks was an instant hit on Netflix and since then fans were continuously demanding for its second season to come out. And, now everyone’s longing is going to end as show’s co-creator Josh Pate has confirmed that he is already working on the script for season two. The romance and the sun-drenched vacation of the soapy teen drama made everyone fall for it resulting in the construction of a huge fan base for the show with just its first season.

Outer Banks Season 2: When is the release happening?
The first season of the show aired on 15th April and we got 10 fantastic episodes. On July 24, Netflix officially announced the renewal of the show for its second season.
Furthermore, the announcement alluded that new episodes will take place in the Bahamas, with the caption, “see you in the Bahamas”. The production of the second season has reportedly gone on the floor in August 2020, under COVID-19 safety precautions. With all the things going around we can expect the second season to premiere in early 2021.

Outer Bank Season 2: What about the plotline?
In the events of the final episode of season one, John B and Sarah are on their way to the Bahamas, while everyone back in the OBX thought they got caught in the hurricane and died.
In season two the plot of the show will revolve around John B and Sarah around the Bahamas and might make it back to OBX. John Pate revealed that in season two we are going to spend some time with Sarah and John B.
