Lucifer Morningstar is very well among everyone who is up-to-date with the Netflix show titled Lucifer. The show is the creation of Tom Kapinos that premiered on Fox on January 25, 2016. It is based on the character called ‘Lucifer’ from DC Comics and is probably the most intriguing character nowadays. The show’s production is overseen by Jerry Bruckheimer Television, DC Entertainment, and Warner Bros. Television. The last time we saw our antihero was when the king of hell was on August 21st, 2020. The first 16 episodes of the show premiered at that time while another part of the 5th season will premiere too. It was thought that the fifth season will be last. But, the show will more future seasons.

Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 is in the works. The fans of the show were quick enough to watch the first part of the season and now are waiting for the second part. The show makers have confirmed that part 2 of the fifth season has finished shooting but, right now the editing process is going. Now as for the release date, we will have to wait for a longer. This is because the show makers have hinted at a delay in the release for the Covid situation is not coming in control.

The co-showrunner of Lucifer, Joe Henderson, just responded to a Twitter post saying, “I mean, it’s finished SHOOTING. We still have plenty to do before it’s ready for Netflix! (I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up about timeline).” This is quite evident that we can expect the release as a Christmas surprise. But, if we think about it, we will probably be getting the second part in the early part of the year 2021. With so much anticipation, the show makers are under a lot of pressure.

Now, regarding Lucifer Season 6, it was earlier thought that this part of the show will be last. But, as of now, we can expect that there will be season 6 of the show as well. DB Woodside said in a statement, “Our fans are going to get a chance to see us in different ways before we get to the end. So, I think the sixth season is really for the fans.” Hence, season 6 will probably be the last. But, as of now, we should steadily wait for the new road that the Lucifer Morningstar will take us to.
