This is quite a huge number and also, means that the waiting time for a green card in the US is now around 84 years. This research is the conduction by David J. Bier who is an immigration policy analyst with the Cato Institute. There are about one lakh plus, or precisely 1.36 lakh children, who are facing a backlog regarding the acceptance of a green card. The studies that were conducted say that these children will be getting about 84 years of age until they receive their green cards and this is highly ineffective.
