You Season 3 is likely to come out in 2021, as per Netflix’s confirmation. Fans are going bonkers upon hearing the news. Ever since Season 2 came out on December 26, 2019, people wanted to know if this crime thriller TV series will have new seasons coming up.
‘You’ is an American psychological drama developed by Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble. It is based on the novel series by Caroline Kepnes. Season 1 on ‘You’ and Season 2 on ‘Hidden Bodies.’ The first season follows Joe Goldberg, a bookstore manager and serial killer who stalks and dates Guinevere Beck, a broke NYU student, and an aspiring writer. In the second season, he moves to LA from New York to escape his reality and start a new life. He falls for a health guru, Love Quinn, who is equally psychotic as him. The second season ended with Love being heavily pregnant, and Joe creepily whispering to himself over his neighbor,” See you soon, neighbor.”
On January 15, 2020, Netflix released a small teaser showing Joe speaking his above-mentioned dialogue, and new tag line “New Year, New You.” We speculated then and there that Netflix was sneakily teasing You Season 3 release date to be in 2021.
On July 20, 2020, author Kepnes tweeted, “Hello! You three is done, and I know I keep saying “soonish,” but it’s genuinely so done that I saw possible covers last week. Your patience in a pandemic means the world to me. Thank you for waiting! Soonish he’s yours.”
Although every show was affected due to the Coronavirus outbreak, You is set to release next year. It will have ten episodes, like the previous seasons.
