The Society Season 2 will be a stellar teen drama continuation. The Society is an American mystery TV show set in the town of West Ham, Connecticut. It is a town that is characterized by the unknown disappearing of people. In Season 1 of The Society, we saw a group of teen kids finds that their town is vacant after they come home early from the cancellation of a field trip. They find that it is just them that they can contact. There is no means to contact the outside world, or we can say, there is no outer world! There is an impenetrable forest around their town they call home.
Season 1 showed how they learned to create their community and live with whatever resources they have. It showed how they tried to navigate their way around the world without elders. Season 1 ended with a lot of drama. Allie and Will got Lexie’s help, Grizz came back with good news. In the ‘real’ West Ham, Allie’s mother grieved the loss of missing teenagers.
Season 2 may include some connections between the two worlds. A possible solution to the vanishing mystery can be presented. Grizz came back with some good news, so that’ll be engrossing whether they have an answer to limited food. In Season 1, they had already dug up a few skeletons, so we are sure that there will be some dangerous expeditions they’ll be embarking on.

Speculations are that all the actors in Season 1 will come back on screen in The Society Season 2. They were widely acclaimed for their raw and authentic acting.

The first season was premiered on May 10, 2019. Netflix announced a month later that the show would have a second season. Reportedly, the shooting had already started for Season 2 before the outbreak of COVID-19, which was a hurdle for the production. So, we can wait for the official announcement. The audience is eager to watch the show. We can say that the production house and the distributors will come up with a formal notice to give us another season of melodrama, mystery, and community.
